Swayze Enjoys Special Guest

Fifth and Sixth Grade students at Swayze were treated to a guest speaker who was involved with the Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. Mr. Willie Madison, uncle of Swayze student Kennedy Madison, began his career in wrestling at the age of 14 in New Orleans. Because of his special abilities, he received a college scholarship allowing him to obtain a degree in business. Just a couple of years ago, Mr. Madison placed 3rd in the nation in his weight division. His message to our students was to always do your best and follow your dreams. Thank you, Mr. Madison, for your encouraging words and inspiring message!
