Wal-Mart awards nominated teachers who meet specific qualifications and guidelines. Mrs. Anderson, a second-grade teacher at Calhoun Elementary, was nominated by her loving students, parents, and colleagues for this honor. Thanks to Mrs. Anderson’s outstanding efforts, she received a $100.00 gift card for class supplies and a well-deserved certificate of appreciation. Wal-Mart also contributed a $1,000.00 grant to Calhoun Elementary.
