COVID-19 Pay Supplement

The COVID-19 Pay Supplement is scheduled to be disbursed on Friday, March 18, 2022 on the regular pony run.  

 

 

This supplement is funded 100% through the ESSER III grant and as such, is a one-time supplement distribution.  

 

 

The distribution of $1,500 will be made to all permanent employees whose employment has been presented to the Ouachita Parish School Board in an open meeting, PRN School Nurses, Long-Term Substitute Teachers filling a full-time position at the same school for the 2021-2022 school year, and Long-Term Substitute Support Workers filling a full-time position at the same school for the 2021-2022 school year who were employed on December 1, 2021.

 

 

This is the gross amount of each check.  Retirement, taxes, and Medicare (if applicable) will be withheld accordingly.   Eligible employees are those who were employed with OPSB in an eligible position on December 1, 2021.  Employees on leave without pay on December 1, 2021 or who terminated employment on or prior to December 1, 2021 are not eligible to receive the payment.
