Superintendent

  Todd Guice took office as Superintendent of the Ouachita Parish School System in July 2023.  Prior to that appointment, he served the system as   
  Assistant Superintendent and Personnel Director, following 13 years as Principal of Ouachita Parish High School and Ouachita Jr. High School.  Todd
  is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe where he earned his bachelor’s degree in education and his master’s degree and master’s +30
  in Educational Leadership.

  Over the last thirty-three years, Mr. Guice has served the district as a teacher, coach, administrative assistant, assistant principal, middle school
  principal, high school principal, personnel director, and assistant superintendent.  The value of education was instilled in Todd at an early age by his
  parents, grandparents, and family.  Growing up in rural Catahoula Parish in a family of career educators afforded him the foundation to be a servant
  leader in the field of education.

  Mr. Guice believes in collaborative leadership through a team approach by gaining input from all stakeholders inside and outside of the district in
  pursuing every avenue to assist our students in becoming successful.  He believes strongly in being transparent and in sharing the tremendous
  student and employee talent of the district. 

During his tenure in the system, Mr. Guice has won several awards for leadership and served in various capacities in the district and in leadership roles in state organizations including serving as President of the LHSAA.  He has been a requested presenter at the state and national level.  He serves his community in various capacities of community organizations always looking for ways to help. 

Married to his best friend, DeLaine Ainsworth Guice, Todd enjoys spending time with his family and tackling projects with his wife.  Todd and DeLaine have two children.  Dr. Kelsie Guice is an OB-GYN resident at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City and Taylor Guice is a law student at the LSU Law School in Baton Rouge.  Todd and DeLaine are members of First Baptist Church in West Monroe.
