Students of the Year Win Regional Titles

Board members honored our three district Student of the Year finalists for achieving regional titles. After being recognized as their school honorees, these three competed locally for district honors.  The competition included writing an essay and interviewing with a panel, as well as composing a portfolio highlighting many achievements.  For regional competition, they once again had to write and interview. We are excited to recognize that they have all three achieved Louisiana Region 2 Student of the Year titles, an unprecedented event in Ouachita Parish School System history. Now the three will move to state competition where they will again write an essay and interview virtually for the state titles. We wish them all the best in their next phase of competition!
